Our History

The Eisenberg Assisted Living Residence is located on the campus of and under the management of the Jewish Heathcare Center. The Jewish Healthcare Center, was established in 1914 as the Jewish Home for Aged & Orphans, with a mission of providing quality care for the elderly population of Worcester. Today it is one of New England's most respected healthcare facilities providing innovative long term care and short-term rehabilitation.

The Eisenberg Assisted Living Residence opened its door in November of 1999, offering a new dimension of service to the community. The Eisenberg Residence has 80 apartments, including apartments specifically designed for residents with Alzeheimer or related demetia.

The Eisenberg Residence is a not-for-profit community able to maintain its reputation for excellence and high level of service by the dedication of its professional staff and the support of a loyal and active community of volunteers and contributors.
